During the Summer of 2020 I wanted to record the Bristol Black Lives Matter protestors’ placards, Jen Reid standing on the plinth, and the statue tied ready for removal. None were photographed in a way that fully represented their impact on me, so I used various footage to reconstruct and draw them.

I have taken care to ensure the printed T shirt image legibly included the placards, as they were displayed against the empty plinth following the protest. Cargo is one of the two charities named by Jen Reid in 2020. As I manage my own website I don’t have a mechanism to make direct donations from the checkout, so will make a direct payment to Cargo based on orders received.
