shipping to my cherished overseas collectors

UK postage is included for every order. For international orders I generally offer a choice of DHL or Royal Mail/Parcel Force, both tracked to your door. I can give a rough estimate in advance, but until the item is packed it is not possible to accurately assess size and weight.

Please do not ask me to under-state the value, or to declare your purchase as a gift. I make a customs declaration, identifiable on my HMRC account, as part of the sending process. Goods are identified as having been entirely ‘made in the UK’, which can reduce import duty, depending on agreements between the UK and destination governments.

Please factor in customs costs at destination, these are beyond my control because customs transact with the receiver.

I invoice postage at cost price, and don’t charge for packing.

  • If there is something you would like to purchase, feel free to email me for an estimate for Postage.

  • When you use the Checkout on this website, international postage will be calculated as ‘free’. Before posting, I will email you a separate P&P invoice, which can be paid securely online using a card/Paypal. Once this is settled, I will post your picture. Alternatively, you can use a UK address for delivery, if you have UK contacts, or a ‘shop and ship’ facility set up.

  • If the P&P invoice is not settled within 2 weeks, I will refund your original payment, and make the artwork available on the website again.

  • Please note I cannot arrange for shipping to a PO box. Whereas at the time of writing some couriers (DPD for example) don't ship art, others (MyHermes for example) accept art, but without cover (so it wouldn’t be insured). In the unlikely event your picture arrived damaged, or was lost en route, I would make an insurance claim to cover my costs redrawing/painting it, and would seek your support in providing evidence for the claim. As a handmade item it is impossible to create an identical piece, but I will do my best. For glazed work, if the picture arrived with the glass broken but otherwise undamaged, I will make an insurance claim, and forward the insurance payment to you as a contribution towards having it professionally reglazed locally to you.
