Lake of Banyoles

Painted on location from the side of the lake. There’s a lovely walking/running route round this lake, so after a holiday run before the sun was too high, I really enjoyed sitting in the shade painting the reeds, reflections, and the Pyrénées in the distance.

Professionally scanned, the original oil painting is sold, and is available as an affordable varnished print on canvas, mounted on board so it is practically indistinguishable from the original oil.
