As this is committed for exhibition at The Society of Wildlife Artists annual exhibition in London, if purchased it will be posted (free UK postage) in October.

Original drawing in ink and pencil on smooth white paper from a specimen in Bristol Museum & Art Gallery natural history collection. The eponymous artwork of the Dungscape project, this pair of framed oil paintings uses traditional techniques to capture a rewilded landscape. Set at Knepp wilding estate, the diurnal and nocturnal canvases stand as individual compositions, and connect visually into a single scene. The flora and fauna are the ecosystem around healthy dung… from the tiniest parasitoid wasp laying into a fly larva to the bat catching a dung beetle on the wing. There is a page of information here, and a YouTube playlist of process videos. Each painting is 120×90cm oil on canvas, with a discreet solid wood tray frame. These pieces are available for sale, although committed for exhibition in Knepp and London (Society of Wildlife Artists annual exhibition). Having been exhibited at this prestigious juried show will contribute to the provenance of the artwork. if purchased, they will be available for collection from London (The Mall Galleries) or Bristol (my studio) from mid October.
This narrative painting is oil on canvas, structurally based on Théodore Géricault’s epic “The Raft Of The Medusa”.
It is a self portrait as womankind - showing common experiences across culture and time. There are two versions: This one was painted for display at the Russell Cotes Museum & Art Gallery, as it was a finalist in The Ruth Borchard Self Portrait Prize exhibition
The larger one (1.6 x 2.3m) was shown at The Mall Galleries (London) in the 164th annual exhibition of the Society of Women Artists.
Please note, because of the size, pickup from my Studio is preferable to postage. Free coffee and a studio tour included!
Painted from life, just a mile North of Land’s End, in Cornwall. With the original composition sketch stuck to the back! The bathers of Sennen Cove beach are just visible between the pillars. Oil on canvas board, varnished in a solid wood white frame, with the location composition sketch included free.
Painted in oil, from life, on a freezing cold December weekend in Bristol. I love the flat winter light, how the old buildings loom, and the interiors glow. We warmed up afterwards in The Christmas Steps pub on the left. Signed, varnished and framed in white wood tray frame.
Painted outside, on a freezing cold day. You can see the white curve of The Grand Hotel, the spire of All Saints Church, and the lights of the Christmas Market outside St Nicholas’ Market. Oil on canvas board, varnished and framed in a white solid wood frame (not shown).
Painted outside, from the bow of the ship The Matthew, on a very sunny day. You can see the Arnolfini, The Balmoral, The M Shed and the cranes. Oil on canvas board, varnished and framed in a deep white wood frame (not shown).
Painted on location on the rooftop terrace where we practiced Pilates at sunrise and sunset in November 2025, c/o the wonderful Emily of Soma Pilates. Wednesday was the midweek Pilates-free night, so I took the chance to paint it without all the bodies!
I really enjoyed standing in the shade painting that bright yellow pot and the long shadows, listening to the call to prayer in the distance.
The original oil painting (sold) has been professionally scanned, and is available as a varnished print on canvas, mounted on board so it is practically indistinguishable from the original oil.
Price includes Certificate of Authenticity and UK postage.
This can be framed as an oil painting without glass.
Painted in oil, from life, at the Tigmi resort in Morocco. Light was streaming through archways that led to a hidden courtyard to the right. The passageway ahead leads up to a simple fountain in a distant walled garden. Signed, varnished and unframed, painted on canvas board.
Reserved for Sarah! Painted in oil, from life, in a courtyard in the Tigmi resort in Morocco. The accommodation is arranged around the courtyard, with foliage giving welcome shade. I loved how the blue pot on top of the wall matched the sky, and was briefly framed by a scudding cloud. The oranges were mostly green, with the occasional orange one peeping through the waxy leaves. Signed, varnished and unframed, painted on canvas board. Option to frame in white wood tray frame.
Painted in oil, from life in the Moroccan resort Tigmi. I was drawn to how those sundrenched archways beautifully framed the intensely blue water feature. And the shadows of the trees, which moved quickly across the wall as the sun moved. Varnished and unframed, painted on canvas board.
Painted in oil, from life on a beautiful November afternoon in Morocco. This is the spot in the Tigmi resort where we practiced Pilates at sunrise and sunset. I loved the long shadows, the bright yellow pots, and the European Starling that sang to us. Varnished and unframed, painted on canvas board.
Painted in oil, from life on a beautiful April morning in Bath. Tourists on the opposite side of the River Avon were leaning on the balustrade enjoying the view the other way. Varnished and framed in a minimal white solid wood tray frame - this is painted on linen stretched round a wood frame.
Painted in oil, from life on a beautiful April afternoon in Bath. I loved how the sun caught the very edges of the Abbey tower, and how the bounced light from the sunlit front of the Guildhall warmed the shaded facets of the building. Varnished framed in a minimal white solid wood tray frame - this is painted on linen stretched round a wood frame.
Profitis Elias is a Greek Orthodox chapel, a beautiful reward for the climb, in the Famagust area, near Paralimni. Sketched and cut on a visit to Cyprus with UWE print department - one of my co-students was having a rest in the doorway. A hand printed limited edition linocut, individually numbered and signed. The size given includes a typical margin, but there is scope for a wider/more trimmed margin if needed.
Original drawing on heavyweight toned paper, showing the incredible mating process of common garden snails. I wanted to revel in the different colours and textures of the snails, shells, and the reflected sky in the slime. This is the same size and media as the associated piece ‘Bouquet’, a fictitious account of slug romance, heavily influenced by two particular garden visitors.
Individually, and as a pair, they make a strong statement, and a great conversation-starter!
Professionally framed in a discrete co-ordinated wood frame, with non-reflective UV-protective Art Glass. It is uneconomical to transport this size framed, so please enquire about transport, collection. Nb this piece has the provenance of having been selected for exhibition in The Mall Galleries (London) with the Society of Wildlife Artists in October 2024.
